St Maroun's College is looking for a HSIE teacher to teach a 4 week block for geography/history. Ability to teach Year 11 Ancient History will be looked upon favourably but not essential. Lessons will already be planned.
<p> The successful applicant must be passionate about making a difference in students’ lives and within our College community.</p><p>Applicants must demonstrate the following desired skills and capabilities:</p><p>* Be qualified and able to teach HSIE (Stage 4/5 History and Geography)</p><p>* A clear understanding of the ethos of Catholic Schools and a willingness to contribute to the faith formation of students</p><p>* Facilitate outcomes-based dynamic and collaborative learning experiences using ICT to cater for the diverse learning needs of students</p><p>* Implement and evaluate effective teaching practice</p><p>* Highly developed interpersonal skills demonstrating an ability to effectively communicate with parents, students and staff</p><p>* Capable of empowering students to be independent and creative learners</p><p>* Ability to work effectively in a team environment</p><p>* Be engaged in further professional development as part of continual learning and maintenance of Accreditation</p><p> </p><p>Written applications must include:</p><p>* a current CV <br /> </p><p>* contact details for three referees <br /> </p><p>Please send details to employment&#64;stmarouns.nsw.edu.au <br /> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
