The Catholic Schools Office is responsible for the leadership, operation, and management of systemic schools within the Catholic Diocese of Maitland-Newcastle.
We educate over 21,000 students across 44 primary schools, 11 secondary schools, one K-12 school, one flexible learning centre, and one special school.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The purpose of Education Officer – Early Learning is to support and enhance the early learning experience (K-2) across schools by providing guidance on implementing the Early Learning Policy, curriculum, and pedagogical practices. This includes collaborating with key stakeholders to build capacity, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The role also focuses on facilitating professional development, supporting transitions for children entering Kindergarten, and promoting student growth through coordinated efforts with School Improvement and High Potential Gifted Education teams.
