<p>Our Holy Redeemer Primary School Surrey Hills invites applications for the position of Learning Support Officer. This is a fixed term position for the remainder of the 2025 school year. The successful applicant will be required to work 4 days per week.  Days of the week are negotiable.</p><p>At Our Holy Redeemer Primary School the Learning Support Officer is responsible for supporting students with disabilities or specific learning needs under the direction of the Learning Diversity Leader and the classroom teacher, and is informed by the Personalised Learning Plans (PLPs) of the students.</p><p>The successful applicant must be supportive of the Catholic ethos of Our Holy Redeemer. Applicants must be in possession of a current Working With Children Check and National Police Check. Applicants must be able to work as part of a team and liaise effectively with teachers, parents, consultants and outside agencies.</p><p>Our Holy Redeemer Primary School is committed to creating and maintaining a child safe environment in which students feel safe and are safe.</p><p>A detailed role description is attached.</p><p><strong>Special Requirements:</strong></p><p>The successful completion of a Certificate 3 in Education Support, or equivalent, is preferred. Recent experience working with young students with disabilities and specific learning needs would be an advantage.</p><p>The successful applicant with adhere to Our Holy Redeemer&#39;s Child Safety Policy and Child Safety Code of Conduct and any other policies with reference to Ministerial Order No. 1359.</p>
