<p><strong>About the role</strong><br /><br />Catholic Regional College North Keilor is seeking an experienced and passionate English Domain Leader to join our dynamic teaching team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated educator to lead and shape the delivery of English education for our secondary school students.</p><p>This position is a teaching role with an associated time and monetary allowance. The start date is negotiable, with a preference for commencement early in Term 2.</p><p><strong>What you&#39;ll be doing</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the English teaching team in the development and implementation of engaging, innovative, and evidence-based curriculum and assessment</li><li>Provide instructional leadership and mentoring to English teachers, fostering their professional growth and supporting best practices in the classroom</li><li>Analyse student data to identify areas for improvement and implement tailored strategies to enhance student outcomes</li><li>Collaborate with the broader leadership team to align the English curriculum with the school&#39;s strategic priorities</li><li>Serve as a subject matter expert, advising on English-related policies, procedures, and initiatives</li><li>Foster a positive and collaborative departmental culture that promotes teamwork and continuous learning</li></ul><p><strong>What we&#39;re looking for</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum 5 years&#39; experience teaching secondary English, with a proven track record of driving student achievement</li><li>Demonstrated leadership experience, either as a domain or in a similar role</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with teachers, students, and parents</li><li>Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities</li><li>Passion for English education and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in students</li><li>Relevant teaching qualifications and registration with the VIT</li></ul><p><strong>What we offer</strong><br /><br />At Catholic Regional College North Keilor, we are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that enables our staff to thrive.
