<p>The Maintenance Officer is responsible for a wide variety of manual and administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the school and support its educational goals. The Maintenance Officer will collaborate in carrying out both proactive and reactive maintenance, either performing tasks personally (within their skillset) or coordinating with contractors. They are also accountable for the repair, upkeep, and enhancement of the buildings and facilities, ensuring they remain fit for purpose at all times. Additionally, the Maintenance Officer will create, implement, and manage proactive maintenance programs, overseeing and prioritising incoming work requests.</p><p>The Maintenance Officer will offer strategic guidance and support to the Business Manager and Principal regarding the overall maintenance of the school, improvements to facilities and grounds, staff supervision, and the continuous enhancement of local systems and processes. The Maintenance Officer should be motivated, enthusiastic, and possess a positive approach to problem-solving and innovation. They will take pride in their work, demonstrating strong attention to detail.</p>
