Mentone Girls' Grammar, a proudly non-selective and internationally accredited as a World School, provides a dynamic and inclusive learning environment for girls from Early Learning to Year 12 in a picturesque coastal location. </p><p>The Head of Senior School reports directly to the Principal and is a key member of the School’s Executive team, with oversight of staff, student wellbeing and the operational leadership of Years 7–12.</p><p>The Head of Senior School provides strategic, educational and pastoral leadership across Years 7–12, cultivating a culture of growth, aspiration, trust and excellence. With a sharp focus on student wellbeing as central to academic success, the role leads a cohesive team of leaders and staff, driving consistent expectations, fostering community engagement and modelling calm, contemporary, relational leadership. The Head of Senior School plays a pivotal role in implementing change initiatives, developing staff capability, and ensuring a vibrant, connected and high-functioning Senior School community.</p><p>The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to:</p><ul><li>Foster school-wide cohesion and build aspirational, high-performing and inclusive teams</li><li>Lead with visibility, integrity and emotional intelligence, communicating with confidence, empathy and clarity</li><li>Drive and embed contemporary wellbeing and positive education frameworks<a href="#_msocom_1" rel="nofollow">[GU1]</a> </li><li>Shape, monitor and improve administrative and operational processes, procedures and protocols</li><li>Embody and actively promote the school’s ethos, vision and values.</li></ul><p>Commencing Term 3, 2025 (or by negotiation), this role is offered as a five-year full-time contract.
