<p>We have a wonderful opportunity for an experienced teacher or new graduate within our Visual Arts and/or Technologies teams. Suitably qualified professionals who have an enthusiasm for and/or experience teaching Stage 4-6 Visual Arts and/or Technologies are invited to apply.</p><p>The ideal applicant will have a dynamic and proactive approach to teaching, enthusiasm for teaching young people and professional values. </p><p>Ensuring high quality educational outcomes and meeting the highest possible standards for our students are part of our values and ethos. Teachers should be committed to their own professional development and expanding work practices to fulfil these values.</p><p><strong>This is a Maternity Leave position (Temporary 12 months, full time)</strong>.</p><p>As our College is growing from 3 to 4 streams within Secondary, there is a possibility that this position may turn into a permanent position in 2026.</p><p>The successful candidate will have the ability to:</p><ul><li>Demonstrate enthusiasm for and/or experience in teaching Visual Arts and/or Technologies for the HSC</li><li>Drive academic improvement in the area of literacy and numeracy from Years 7 to 12</li><li>Demonstrate highly developed interpersonal and communications skills, and the ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with staff, students and parents</li><li>Work collaboratively within a team to lead in further development of the faculty</li><li>Model, promote and represent the College&#39;s Vision, Mission and Values</li><li>Contribute to the innovative educational direction that exists within the College</li><li>Differentiate in the classroom and promote growth for each individual student</li><li>Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the curriculum and assessment</li><li>Implement digital literacy with regard to application of pedagogy</li><li>Present appropriate tertiary qualifications, including teaching qualifications</li><li>Assent to the College&#39;s Statement of Faith</li></ul><p>NESA Accreditation and a current Working With Children Check is required. </p><p>Our ideal candidate also acts with integrity, makes ethical decisions, and embodies our cultural traits and Christian values.</p><p>You must be eligible to work in Australia, and continue, where required, to maintain any necessary work visas/permits and comply with all conditions to maintain your employment status whilst in Australia.</p>
