<p>An exciting opportunity has become available for a Christian Special Needs Education Assistant who is seeking a part-time position in our Learning Support team at the Wilson campus from Term 3.</p><p>Are you someone who has a genuine love for Christian education, children and their families? The successful candidate will be joining a team who sincerely believe in the mission to lead students to think and live for the glory of God in every aspect of their lives.</p><p> </p><p><strong>About the Position</strong></p><p>You will need to perform non-teaching duties to assist the teaching staff in the Early Childhood, Primary or Secondary Schools, providing care and supervision for students including running Learning Support Intervention and the implementation of documented plans for students with additional needs to track curriculum and teaching adjustments.</p><p>Our Special Needs Assistants support students with a range of additional needs, including students with Down Syndrome, Autism, ADHD, anxiety, language difficulties and learning disabilities. Preference will be given to candidates who have gained experience supporting and transitioning students with additional learning needs.</p><p>This role is part-time, fixed term initially, on two days a week working with our Learning Support team.<br /> </p><p><strong>What You Need to Succeed</strong></p><p>Apart from the necessary qualifications, we look for people who are a great cultural fit.
