Catholic Education, Diocese of Wagga Wagga (CEDWW) has an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified teacher to take on a Permanent part-time position of Inclusive and Diverse Learning Coordinator at the Tocumwal, Finley and Jerilderie.

<p>As an accomplished educator in the Catholic school, the Inclusion and Diverse Learning Coordinator (IDL) models faith in action, supporting the school community to develop a shared vision that focuses on the provision of a high quality Catholic education for all students.</p>
<p><strong>What We Can Offer</strong></p>

<li>Permanent, Part-Time Position</li>
<li>Commencing 21st July 2025</li>
<li>Work Schedule: 0.2 FTE at Sacred Heart Tocumwal, 0.2 FTE at St Joseph's, Jerilderie, 0.3 FTE at St Joseph's, Finley. </li>

<li>Salary determined by NESA Accreditation and Teaching Service + Coordinator 1 Allowance ($375.08 per fortnight pro rata)</li>

<li>Retention Incentive ($5,000 per annum for the first four years of employment)</li>
<li>Petrol Allowance: $2000 per annum (pro-rata) if travelling >50km (one-way)</li>
</ul>
<p>* A possibility to have a 0.3 FTE Teaching load at one of the mentioned schools, however this will depend on the schools availability and not guaranteed.</p>
<p><strong>Essential Criteria</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Effectively work as part of a team within an educational setting. </li>
<li>Organise work priorities in line with the school and CEDWW’s vision and strategic plan. </li>
<li>Establish good relationships with parents and with other staff members.</li>
<li>Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the ideals of Catholic Education. </li>
<li>Bachelor of Education. Desirable qualifications in Special Education or Inclusive Education. </li>
<li>Classroom teaching experience (min 3 years) </li>
<li>Current NESA registration </li>
<li>Current Working with Children Check </li>
<li>Current National Criminal Police History Check </li>
<li>Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools, Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga (Category B), or working towards Accreditation</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Skills and Experience</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Understanding of the use of data to inform coordinator practice and student learning improvement. </li>
<li>Demonstrate current knowledge of legislation and practices in regard to students with learning difficulties, disabilities and learning support needs through updated knowledge of:
<ul>
<li>Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Act, 1998 </li>
<li>United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, 2006 </li>
<li>Disability Discrimination Act, 1992 </li>
<li>Disability Standards for Education, 2005 </li>
<li>Alice Springs (Mparntwe)Education Declaration, 2019 </li>
<li>Nationally Consistent Collection of Data on School Students with Disability (NCCD) procedures and policies. </li>
</ul></li>
<li>Understanding and respect for professional confidentiality requirements.</li>
