Prescott College is seeking a passionate educator to join our dynamic teaching team for Term 2, 2025. This role involves teaching History and Geography. It presents an exciting opportunity for a creative and skilled teacher to inspire students in a supportive learning environment. Initial .8 FTE fixed-term contract offered for Term 2 with the possibility of extension for the right candidate.
<p><strong>ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS</strong> </p><ul><li>Supportive of Christian values </li><li>Qualified teacher with experience in History and Geography at the High School level </li><li>Expertise in planning, preparing, and assessing engaging lessons aligned with the Australian curriculum </li><li>Commitment to supporting students&#39; academic and personal growth </li><li>Collaboration with colleagues to foster a positive school culture </li><li>Providing constructive feedback on student progress </li></ul><p><strong>IDEAL CANDIDATE</strong> </p><ul><li>Proven ability to deliver high-quality Middle School History and Geography lessons  </li><li>Strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum or equivalent </li><li>Talent for creating engaging and inclusive learning environments </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills </li><li>Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively </li></ul>
