Living Faith Lutheran OSHC is seeking to employ an OSHC Coordinator for a maternity leave contract on a fixed-term, part-time basis commencing late May 2025.

<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>In this position, you will coordinate the day-to-day running of the service and management of a team of Educators. You will receive daily support from a dedicated management team, consisting of the Coordinator, Manager -Children’s Services and Educational Leader. You will have a minimum of eight weeks training with the coordinator before their departure on leave. The contract will be for a minimum of nine months, with a possibility for extension.</p><p> </p><p><strong>As the Coordinator you will: </strong></p><ul><li>Support the Coordinator with a high-quality long-term engaged team;</li><li>Ensure compliance with policy;</li><li>Undertake administrative requirements;</li><li>Work collaboratively with families and the school community;</li><li>Continue the development of the Strategic Inclusion Plan and applications for ISP funding as required in collaboration with the families, educators and school; and</li><li>Support educators by mentoring in the inclusion space.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>As the Coordinator you will have:</strong></p><ul><li>Completed (or actively studying) relevant qualifications in Childcare or Teaching (Minimum of Diploma in Children Services/Outside School Hours Care);</li><li>Demonstrated experience in programming and a passion for providing quality care;</li><li>Demonstrated experience in maintaining effective administration and documentation in an early years’ service;</li><li>Demonstrated experience working with children with diverse needs;</li><li>Experience in creating Strategic Support Plans and Individual Support Plans;</li><li>Excellent customer service skills;</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills;</li><li>First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain;</li><li>Certificate of Suitability to work with Children and Young People (Blue Card) or willingness to obtain; and</li><li>NQF knowledge would be advantageous.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Benefits and Rewards:</strong></p><p>The successful applicant will be rewarded with a wide range of benefits and rewards including:</p><ul><li>Consistent administration hours off the floor, as well as within ratio hours mornings, afternoons and holidays as per the service roster;</li><li>Split shift allowance payments and paid team meetings;</li><li>Paid professional development;</li><li>Support from a committed, knowledgeable and enthusiastic onsite management team;</li><li>Discounted rates at our care facilities;</li><li>Flexible work hours to accommodate study or family commitments; and</li><li>Employee Assistance Program.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>How to Apply</strong></p><p>Written applications must include:</p><ul><li>a cover letter outlining the reasons for applying;</li><li>a current resume;</li><li>the name, role, relationship to applicant and telephone number of three referees.
