Our maintenance team plays a crucial role in ensuring that our facilities are safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing.</p><p>We are seeking a qualified Carpenter to join our team on a permanent full-time basis.</p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>As a Carpenter at St Augustine&#39;s College, you will be an integral part of our Maintenance Team, bringing a complementary skillset to support the upkeep and enhancement of our campus. Your expertise in carpentry and general handyman skills will be essential in maintaining the high standards of our facilities.</p><p><strong>As the College Carpenter, your responsibilities will involve:</strong></p><ul><li>Performing a wide range of carpentry tasks with precision and attention to detail</li><li>Utilising your general handyman skills to assist with various maintenance and repair projects</li><li>Undertaking projects such as office renovation and relocation, building internal walls, fencing, doors etc</li><li>Engaging in a variety of tasks, ensuring no two days are the same.</li><li>Conducting training and providing direction for casual staff as required</li><li>Ensuring that safety standards are maintained at all times</li></ul><p><strong>To be considered for this opportunity you will have:</strong></p><ul><li>Extensive experience and licensed in carpentry</li><li>Strong general handyman skills</li><li>Experience in plaster-board, tiling and painting would be highly advantageous</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li><li>Strong focus on safety </li><li>Working with Heights Certificate would be highly regarded</li></ul><p><strong>Child Safeguarding Statement:</strong></p><p>St. Augustine’s College is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
