We are seeking a Jewish Studies Teacher to join our team. This is a full-time, temporary position for Term 2, 28 April 2025 to 4 July 2025.

<p>We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Jewish Studies Teacher to join our team. This is a full-time, temporary position commencing at the beginning of Term 2 (28 April 2025 to 4 July 2025). This role will include teaching Years 7, 8, 10 and 11 Jewish Studies and Year 7 Hebrew.</p><p>The successful candidate will be an effective communicator who holds students’ Jewish learning and development as the highest priorities. They will be an experienced, successful and qualified educator who is highly organised and professional, with a passion for ensuring the best possible education for students.  Teachers with strong knowledge of  Torah, Jewish texts and Hebrew are especially encouraged to apply.</p><p>The successful candidate will have a relevant degree and teaching qualifications,  be accredited with NESA and hold a current Working With Children Check.</p><p>Emanuel School welcomes Jewish Studies teachers from all streams of Judaism, and it is important to us that each teacher respects and supports the Jewish diversity of our community and is comfortable teaching and exploring pluralist Jewish themes.</p><p><strong>About Our School</strong></p><p>Emanuel is an independent, co-educational, Jewish day school from Pre-school to Year 12, situated in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. </p><p>We are a Jewish School, though you do not need to be Jewish to join our team. </p><p>Emanuel School is committed to providing co-educational excellence in a Pre-school to Year 12 continuum.  We value the individuality of all students and encourage the development of their special interests and talents.
