<p><strong>Kitchen Operations Supervisor </strong></p><p>In 2025, Saints College, North Melbourne Campus, is seeking an experienced Kitchen Operations Supervisor to join the school community. </p><p>Since 2012, we have led the way in radically inclusive education, supporting students with diverse challenges. We are an inclusive school for 12–25-year-olds seeking an alternative to mainstream education. Our environment celebrates all abilities and backgrounds, providing transformative learning experiences catering to individual needs. </p><p> </p><p>We operate multiple campuses located in Fitzroy North, North Melbourne, Sunshine, Geelong, Colac, Ballarat, Bungaree and a dual engagement virtual learning campus, BlendED. </p><p>The young people we serve often face significant and complex educational, social, developmental, psychological, health, legal, or familial challenges, which demand unique interventions. Our approach is grounded in the Operation by Principles framework, which combines education with an understanding of trauma-informed practices. </p><p> </p><p><strong>The Role:</strong> </p><p>It is an exciting time to join Saints College as we are experiencing a period of substantial growth. </p><p>We are looking for a full-time Kitchen Operations Supervisor, based at Saints College, North Melbourne. </p><p> </p><p>Reporting to the Operations and Administration Manager, this position is responsible for overseeing food service operations across three campuses, ensuring the delivery of multiple nutritious, allergy-safe meals daily. </p><p>You will be employed as an ongoing School Services Officer, commencing in Term 1 2025, and will be employed under the Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022. </p><p> </p><p><strong>You will need:</strong> </p><ul><li>Ability to commit to and work within our Operating Principles; <strong>Respect, Participation, Safe and Legal and Honesty</strong>. </li><li>Possess a current Hygiene for Food Handler’s Certificate </li><li>Food Safety Supervisor Certificate is mandatory </li><li>Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (Chef Qualification) or higher is desirable </li><li>3 years’ experience in a similar role is desirable </li><li>The ability to inspire and engage young people. </li></ul><p>Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People are encouraged to apply, we are an Equal Opportunity Employer and value diversity. </p><p><strong>To Apply:</strong> </p><p><strong>Please apply directly from our website -</strong> <a href="http://www.stjosephs.vic.edu.au/careers" rel="nofollow"><u>www.stjosephs.vic.edu.au/careers</u></a>.
