<p>Unabashedly bold, Bayview is a Christian community school with a <i>big</i> footprint. Today, the College is perfectly positioned to make the most of its spiritual, cultural, social, economic and geographical assets. </p><p>As the CEO of Portland Christian Community College Ltd, the Principal collaborates with and supports the College Board to ensure the ongoing success of the College through the design, delivery and review of the Strategic Plan. This role will suit a person of Christian faith, an educational leader with the integrity, conviction, character and courage, who role models and proactively promotes a respectful and positive learning environment. </p><p>The Principal is deeply embedded in the life of the local community. The Principal’s role is to inform, guide, lead and empower staff, students and parents in their Christian faith. With strategic oversight across all aspects of operations, the appointee will be a relational leader, who engages readily with one and all, models a strengths-based approach and will be a creative, lateral thinker who delivers.</p><p>The successful candidate will demonstrate:</p><ul><li>a commitment to the practice of their own Christian faith, to ecumenism and to promoting and supporting the beliefs and practices of the school</li><li>an immersive and engaging leadership style, essential to foster a positive, creative, collaborative and inclusive culture where agency, commitment and personal excellence are prominently featured</li><li>proven experience developing and delivering a bespoke contemporary learning, teaching and pedagogy curriculum </li><li>strategic insight and leadership across all operational facets including school administration, staff development, compliance, finances and governance. </li></ul><p>With a negotiable start date, preferably at the commencement of Term 3, July 2025, the successful applicant will benefit from an attractive five-year executive contract with an option to renew.
