<p>Are you passionate about early childhood education and care? Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (OLSH) in Alice Springs is hiring an <u>Early Learning Centre (ELC) and Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Director </u>which is a key role that allows you to lead, implement, and assess learning for our young learners. As the Director, you’ll follow the Early Years Learning Framework, My Time Our Place Framework, and National Quality Standards to ensure we’re providing exceptional care and learning experiences.</p><p> </p><p><u>Duties included but not limited to:</u></p><p>- Ensure the day-to-day operations of the Early Learning Centre &amp; Outside School Hours Care are monitored and maintained and that regular reporting to the Principal is provided;</p><p>- Operate the Centre within agreed policies and procedures that ensures compliance<br />to all relevant laws and regulations;</p><p>- To support staff in providing a quality program that identifies the needs and interests<br />of children in care;</p><p>- Supplement staff team by providing direct care to a group of children.</p><p> </p><p><u>About you:</u></p><p>- Hold a Diploma in Early Childhood Education;</p><p>- Hold a current NT Working with Children Card;</p><p>- Hold a Senior First Aid Certificate;</p><p>- Demonstrated leadership experience in an early years setting;</p><p>- Proven ability to communicate effectively with children, parents and staff including encouraging<br />parental participation;</p><p>- Be responsible in working collaboratively with the Principal in the implementation and evaluation of quality programs for each child that is based on the children’s strengths and interests;</p><p>- Proficiency in the use of computers and technologies.</p><p>Read the full PID attached for more information.</p><p> </p><p>If you have the experience and passion to work with our littlest learners, we want to hear from you. <br /> </p>
