We collaborate with parents and families to prepare students for life beyond school, offering experiences that cultivate learning, leadership, and a commitment to the common good.</p><p>The Saint Yon Trade Training Centre, incorporated within the College, is a high quality training facility offering specialised vocational training to senior students.<br><br>Teaching/training staff assist the Principal and the Head of Trade Training in meeting the educational, workplace training and pastoral needs and requirements of students. The role is focused on delivering high quality, personalised student learning experiences via both face to face and /or online learning. Salary calculated on averaged conditions (generally only required to work during school term time)</li><li>salary packaging of up to $15,900 annually</li><li>up to 25% discount on school fees for parents of SCS students</li><li>ongoing training and development opportunities</li><li>discounts on gym classes and memberships, activewear, healthy meals, and wellbeing products</li><li>generous Employee Referral Program.</li></ul><p><strong>About You</strong><br><br>As part of the Learning Support Team, St Yon Trade Training Centre you will assist the classroom teacher and trade trainers in providing a quality Catholic education focused on maximising student outcomes, through a holistic, student centred curriculum.&nbsp;<br><br>To excel in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:</p><ul><li>an understanding of the needs of the diverse needs of students who require individual and classroom support</li><li>ability to work collaboratively with teachers as a team member</li><li>excellent communication skills</li><li>ability to be organised, supportive and resourceful</li><li>a willingness to support the positive religious and cultural Catholic school environment for students</li><li>ability to work in a practical competency based environment.</li></ul><p>You will have attained:&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;</p><ul><li>a Certificate III or IV in Educational Support from TAFE NSW or equivalent post-secondary qualification.</li><li>or suitable experience in learning support roles.</li></ul><p><strong>Application Process</strong><br><br>Please click on the 'Apply' button and follow the steps to submit your application.
