<p>The Anglican Church Grammar School (Churchie) is an independent day and boarding school for boys, located in the heart of Brisbane. Since its inception in 1912, Churchie has pursued a philosophy of preparing students to be well-balanced men, contributing positively to the community. This pursuit is characterised by an emphasis on the four tenets of the educational program: scholastic attainment, spiritual awareness, personal growth and community service. The school has a rich history and traditions, with world-renowned resources and facilities, which provide an ideal setting for the development of young men of good character.</p><p>The Director of Community Relations is an integral member of the senior leadership team and plays a pivotal role in shaping the school&#39;s community engagement, marketing, communication strategies, and major events. The position actively builds authentic connections with volunteer groups, parents, staff, alumni, and external partners while ensuring the school’s mission, vision, and values are communicated effectively. The successful candidate will be a high performer with a record of exceptional leadership, stakeholder engagement, communication and interpersonal skills.</p><p>The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:</p><ul><li>High level interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Senior leadership experience with the ability to work collaboratively as a part of a school corporate services team to achieve shared goals. </li><li>A proven ability to think strategically and formulate plans, short and longer term, to advance strategic objectives. </li><li>Effective, well-considered decision-making skills with a focus on driving outcomes and measurable results. </li><li>Excellent team leadership skills, including the ability to motivate, lead, inspire and develop a high performing team.</li><li>A genuine commitment to the philosophy of Churchie and a willingness to support and promote the Christian ethos, values and strategic vision of the School.</li></ul><p> Offered as a permanent full-time position, applicants must have relevant tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications, or business, and the right to work in Australia.</p><p><strong>Churchie</strong> has zero tolerance for child abuse and is committed to providing a child safe environment where children and young people are safe and feel safe, as outlined in the Child Protection Policy.</p>
