We are looking for a Student Wellbeing Leader with strong leadership and student wellbeing skills that is comfortable being part of a high performing team. The role is a full time permanent role commencing on in Term 2, 2025.

<p>St Patrick&#39;s Primary School is a vibrant and dynamic Catholic school, 20 minutes from Melbourne&#39;s northern suburbs. It sits alongside Assumption College, our sister Marist school, and we work very closely with their staff and students alike.</p><p>We are looking for suitably qualified and experienced applicants within a primary school environment for a Student Wellbeing Leader that will support the school&#39;s wellbeing and pastoral care of the students at St Patrick’s to ensure the vision and ethos of the School are achieved.</p><p>Applicants should be able to demonstrate the key selection criteria:</p><ul><li>Wellbeing is well known and understood within the school community;</li><li>Support services are arranged for students when required;</li><li>Child Safe standards are implemented and followed routinely;</li><li>Consistent behaviour management processes are followed throughout the school;</li><li>PBL, SEL and related programs are embedded into the curriculum.</li></ul><p>The school values staff who are comfortable in an environment of ongoing improvement, self-reflection, coaching/mentoring and peer interaction. We are looking for creative thinkers, who are life-long learners and want to be part of a well-supported team in a relatively new, beautiful built environment.</p><p>St Patrick’s is a school committed to the safety, well-being and protection of all children in our care. A sound and demonstrated knowledge and understanding of current &#39;Child Safe&#39; standards is required. A copy of the school’s Child Safe Policy and Child Safe Code of Conduct can be found on the school’s website.</p><p>Applicants are asked to demonstrate:</p><ul><li>current VIT registration;</li><li>confidence in using ICT;</li><li>knowledge of Victorian Curriculum;</li><li>accreditation to teach RE;</li><li>a commitment to faith formation, both personally and professionally;</li><li>an ability to lead staff.</li></ul><p>Note: <strong>Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. </strong>You must reside, and have the right to work, in Australia – overseas applicants will not be considered for this role.</p>
