<p>As a secondary teacher in the area of human society and its environment (HSIE) you will open the eyes of our students to the world and its environs and equip them with a powerful context to enhance key competencies including the investigation, interpretation, and communication of information and ideas.</p><p><strong>Permanent full-time (1.0 FTE) position commencing Monday 28 April 2025 </strong><i><strong>(or by negotiation)</strong></i></p><p>We are seeking a suitably qualified Secondary Teacher, with a focus on <strong>Geography </strong>(Stage 4 and Stage 5) and <strong>History</strong> (Stage 4 to Stage 6) to join our collaborative HSIE Faculty. You will be instrumental in encouraging the acquisition of higher-order critical thinking and analysis skills for our students; committed to the achievement of excellence as a classroom teacher; a strong collaborator; and, confident in effective pedagogy and classroom management.
