St Patrick’s College is seeking a Careers and Pathways Coordinator to lead our Careers Program. Supporting students in career education, work experience, and post-school pathways, helping them make informed future decisions. The coordinator will collaborate with students, staff, families, and external stakeholders to promote aspiration and support transitions to education, training, or employment.
<p>St Patrick's College is a Catholic day and boarding school for boys in Year 7 to 12 in the Edmund Rice tradition. Founded in 1893, it is a beautifully resourced school in terms of its staff and facilities and is known for many things including its energy and sense of community.</p><p>The College's vision is centred around: "Educating hope-filled, compassionate and confident young men for their place in the world” and is inspired and informed by a commitment to its four pillars – Faith, Tradition, Excellence and Joy, which remain the bedrock of a St Patrick's education.</p><p>We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Careers and Pathways Coordinator to lead the Careers Program at St Patrick’s College. This pivotal role involves guiding students through their career education, work experience, and post-school pathways, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to make informed decisions about their futures.</p><p>The successful candidate will work closely with students, staff, families, and external stakeholders to foster a culture of aspiration and readiness for life beyond school, supporting students in their transition to tertiary education, training, or employment.</p><p>The Careers and Pathways Coordinator will be responsible for creating and implementing a ‘best practice’ career program tailored to the needs and goals of our students.</p><p>They must demonstrate professionalism, effective communication, and decision-making skills while upholding the values of a Catholic boys’ school in the Edmund Rice tradition.
