St Patrick's have a parental leave position available for a part-time (3 days) Administration Officer to join our highly professional team, commencing Term 2.

<p>ADMINISTRATION OFFICER</p><p><u>Role Description</u></p><p>● Responsibility for the efficient clerical and/or financial administration of St Patrick’s School </p><p>● Providing designated support to senior school leadership, including initiating complex or confidential reports, documents and correspondence </p><p>● Assisting in administering the general financial operations of St Patrick’s School </p><p>● Liaising with and managing enquiries from students, parents, employees and the general public</p><p>● Support the administering of general financial assistance to the Parents and Friends Association </p><p>● Receive and receipt monies payable to the school and follow through with appropriate banking procedures </p><p>● Assist with the payment of accounts received by the school </p><p>● Collect school fees and charges and maintain appropriate records </p><p>● Collate, produce and publish the weekly school newsletter</p><p>● Assist with the running of the school’s first aid processes</p><p>● Coordinate the production and maintenance of school permission forms and notices</p><p> </p><p><u>Professional Development </u></p><p>● Commit to ongoing professional development in your area of work </p><p>● Be open to researching areas of interest relevant to directions provided in the school’s strategic plan </p><p>● Continue development of ICT skills as technologies evolve </p><p>● Be an active member of a relevant professional association as duties permit </p><p> </p><p><u>General Duties </u></p><p>● Contribute to a healthy and safe work environment for yourself and others and comply with all safe work policies and procedures </p><p>● Demonstrate professional and collegiate relationships with colleagues </p><p>● Other duties as directed by the Principal </p><p> </p><p><u>Commitment to Catholic Education </u></p><p>● A demonstrated understanding of the ethos of a Catholic school and its mission Commitment to Child Safety </p><p>● A demonstrated understanding of child safety and experience working with children</p><p>● Be familiar with and comply with the school’s child-safe policy and code of conduct and any other policies or procedures relating to child safety </p><p>● Must hold or be willing to acquire a Working with Children Check card and must be willing to undergo a National Police Record Check </p><p> </p><p><u>Education and Experience </u></p><p>● Competent in Word, Excel, Google Docs and Google Sheets </p><p>● Hold a current Level 1 first aid certificate</p><p> </p><p><u>Skills/Attributes </u></p><p>● Ability to work as part of a team </p><p>● Excellent interpersonal and communication skills </p><p>● Good oral and written communication skills, including ability to communicate with children, parents and the school community </p><p>● Capacity to work to tight timelines </p><p>● Proven capacity to work independently </p><p>● Sound organizational skills including strong attention to detail</p><p> </p>
