<p>Marist Regional College is a Catholic School formed from the amalgamation of two schools, run by the Sisters of Mercy and the Marist Fathers in 1972. Today we build on those foundations to enable our over 900 students to grow with confidence and purpose, secure in the knowledge that they will be known, safe and valued.</p><p>We are currently seeking applications for an innovative, passionate and highly motivated Director of Middle School to join our College community. This position is also offered with an ongoing 1.0 FTE Teacher position. </strong></p><p> </p><p>The position of Director of Middle School (Years 7 &amp; 8) is a significant leadership role at Marist Regional College. Under the guidance of the Deputy Principal: Pastoral Care and Wellbeing, the Director of Middle School will build and maintain positive role relationships with the Year 7 &amp; 8 Year Level Coordinators, the Director of Curriculum and Pedagogy, and the Director of Student Support to bring about enhanced strategic and operational objectives. </p><p>For the full application package and Position Description head to </p><p> </p><p>www.mrc.tas.edu.au/about/employment</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The College maintains a strong commitment to the advancement of outstanding pastoral care, management of behaviour, attendance and academic support provided for our students and staff in the Senior School at Marist Regional College. </p><p>With the Deputy Principal: Pastoral Care and Well-Being, the Director of Senior School will be responsible for the review and implementation of behavioural and pastoral policy and procedures. These include overseeing the Senior School Reflective Practice Space, supporting the Senior School Academic Catch Up Room, facilitating and overseeing the transition process of students from our Middle School (Year 8) into the Senior School (Year 9 and beyond). </p><p>At Marist Regional College, our Catholic Faith deeply informs the pastoral care provided to students by fostering an environment of compassion, respect, and holistic development.
