This administration position has a key role to play in St Clement's at the operational level. The successful applicant will manage the front office of the school. The role is vital to the efficient and smooth running of the School on a day-to-day basis. The position works closely with the School Business Manager and the Principal.

<p>St Clement of Rome Catholic Primary School is seeking an experienced and highly organised <strong>Administration Officer</strong> to join our dynamic school community. The successful applicant will manage the front office of our school.  This is a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the school, providing essential administrative support to the Principal and staff while maintaining a welcoming and professional front office environment.</p><p><i>This job is advertised as a contract position, however an <strong>ongoing position can be negotiated</strong> by the successful applicant.</i></p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>The Administration Officer is the first point of contact for students, parents, and visitors, playing a crucial role in communication and school operations. Key responsibilities include:</p><ul><li>Managing reception duties, phone calls, and correspondence.</li><li>Providing administrative support, including student records management and processing purchase orders.</li><li>Assisting with financial tasks such as receipting and banking.</li><li>Organising bookings for excursions and events.</li><li>Supporting enrolment processes and promotional activities.</li><li>Upholding Child Safe Standards and ensuring compliance with policies.</li><li>Administering first aid and maintaining office supplies.</li></ul><p><strong>Who We Are Looking For</strong></p><p>The ideal candidate will have:</p><ul><li>Patience and demonstrate empathy</li><li>An awareness of Duty of Care responsibilities</li><li>The capability to work as part of a team</li><li>Strong administrative and organisational skills.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.</li><li>Proficiency in computer systems and office software.</li><li>A friendly and professional approach to working with students, staff, and families.</li><li>A commitment to child safety and the Catholic ethos of the school.</li></ul><p><strong>Position Details</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Full-time role:</strong> Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM – 4:20 PM</li><li>Experience with platforms such as Canva, Compass, SIMON/PAM, Synergetic and/or eSIS would be beneficial.</li></ul><p>A full role description is attached below.</p><p>This is a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a positive and supportive school environment.
