As such, we are seeking to appoint an outstanding and experienced teacher with a strong academic background to join our highly successful TAS Faculty. This is an ongoing, full-time position, commencing Monday, 28 April 2025.</p><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>As a <strong>TAS Teacher</strong>, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.</p><p>To excel in this role, you will demonstrate:</p><ul><li>ability to teach Stage 4 Technology Mandatory and a combination of Stage 5 and 6 TAS courses, including Engineering Studies, Graphics Technology, Computing Technology, Enterprise Computing, Industrial Technology Multimedia, Industrial Technology Timber, and/or VET Construction</li><li>ability to be an innovative educator who is future-focused and has a passion for working collaboratively</li><li>a thorough understanding of Workplace Health & Safety requirements in TAS</li><li>exemplary classroom practice and suitable qualifications</li><li>dynamic and innovative practitioner of Technology with suitable experience in teaching, programming and assessment</li><li>knowledge of NESA syllabi including; assessment & reporting requirements which facilitate personalised learning</li><li>confidence with the integration of technology into the curriculum to promote quality learning principles</li><li>ability to differentiate the curriculum to meet the diverse learning needs of the students</li><li>sound interpersonal skills and a willingness to work collaboratively as a team member</li><li>an understanding and an ability to support the Catholic life of the College.</li></ul><p>You will have attained:</p><ul><li>a tertiary qualification in Education</li><li>eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)</li><li>Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per<a href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/policies/accreditation-policy-to-work-teach-and-lead-in-sydney-catholic-schools"> <u>Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead</u></a>.</li></ul><p><strong>Why Work for Sydney Catholic Schools</strong></p><p>In joining<a href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/"> <u>Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS)</u></a>, you will be part of the largest Catholic education community in NSW, with a unified vision and shared resources, encompassing over 145 schools and over 74,000 students.
