<p><strong>Location: </strong>Hybrid - World Square, CBD and WFH<br><strong>Commencement Date: </strong>Immediate start or by negotiation<br><strong>Closing Date:</strong> Monday, 24 February 2025<br><strong>Capacity:</strong> Full-time, permanent</p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>As the Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing support services to the Manager: School Operations, Managers: School Support and team members to enable the efficient operation of the team.</p><p>Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:</p><ul><li>extensive scheduling management, including organisation of appointments, prioritisation of meetings, preparation of pre-meeting papers, follow up of actions, coordination of guests and necessary paperwork</li><li>providing administrative services including filing, mail receipt and sorting, maintenance of registers, routine purchasing, meeting and event support, photocopying, and creating and compiling documents to support the effective operation of the team/unit</li><li>collecting and compiling information to support the development of documentation and reports</li><li>responding to enquiries and routine requests for information, escalating enquiries as necessary, to ensure the provision of accurate information</li><li>updating records and databases, complying with records management processes, to ensure information is accurate, stored correctly and accessible</li><li>any other duties as directed from time to time.</li></ul><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>We are seeking a motivated and professional candidate with the following experience, skills and knowledge:</p><ul><li>TAFE NSW/College Certificate III/IV or equivalent qualification in administration</li><li>demonstrated high level computer literacy through proficiency in Microsoft Office packages including Word and PowerPoint, SharePoint, Google mail/apps, and PHRIS</li><li>proven exceptional written and verbal communication skills</li><li>demonstrated highly developed interpersonal skills</li><li>demonstrated excellent telephone manner and high order skills in handling difficult conversations</li><li>demonstrated excellence in customer and client service</li><li>demonstrated personal initiative and ability to work effectively in a team environment</li><li>willingness to respect, support and uphold the mission, ethos and teachings of the Catholic Church and the values of SCS.</li></ul><p><strong>Why Work for Sydney Catholic Schools</strong><br><br>In joining SCS, you will be part of the largest Catholic education community in NSW.
