The ideal candidate will be committed to creating a positive learning environment and maintaining high teaching standards. This role reports directly to the Head of Mathematics. </p><p>This is a permanent, full-time position with an immediate start.</p><p><strong>The ideal candidate must:</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to teach up to Extension 1 HSC Mathematics is an advantage</li><li>Evidence of innovative classroom practices</li><li>A high standard of competency and proficiency as a classroom teacher</li><li>Excellent knowledge and understanding of the integration of technology in the delivery of learning</li><li>Demonstrate experience in implementing numeracy initiatives</li><li>Proven ability to analyse student data, develop action plans, and implement strategies to enhance student learning outcomes</li><li>Expertise in differentiating instruction to effectively support EALD students and those with low numeracy skills, ensuring their diverse learning needs are met</li><li>Demonstrate an understanding of how students learn and effective classroom teaching strategies and the capacity to work with colleagues to continually improve teaching and learning</li><li>Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills,critical analysis, and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to prioritise and work as part of a team</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Criteria:</strong></p><ul><li>A tertiary qualification in Education.</li><li>A strong commitment to the Christian ethos and values of the school.</li><li>A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC).</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Information:</strong></p><ul><li>Salaries are in line with the Independent Schools NSW Teachers (Hybrid Model) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2021, with current pay rates above the award.</li></ul><p><strong>Application Process:</strong></p><p>Applications close on 28 February 2025.
