<p>We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Diverse Learning Teacher with strong interpersonal and organisational skills to join our team. The role of the Diverse Learning Teacher works across K-12 to support the teaching and learning of students who have been identified as having specific learning needs.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Collaborate with class teachers in designing learning activities and supporting individuals or small groups of students.</li><li>Create, implement, and monitor personalised learning plans (PPs) for students with diverse needs, in consultation with stakeholders. </li><li>Provide a supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to individual learning styles.</li><li>Utilise a data-driven approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback.</li><li>Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies to meet their diverse needs.</li><li>Demonstrate sound knowledge in developing a K-12 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies.</li><li>High level of administrative skills to manage student documentation, analyse student data, and contribute to the collation of documents in line with the NCCD including participation in the moderation process.</li><li>Stay informed about and ensure compliance with the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) and relevant education standards.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications and Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Hold relevant tertiary qualifications and accreditation to teach in NSW.</li><li>Bachelor’s degree in Inclusive Education or extensive experience.</li><li>Strong understanding of the DDA and how it applies to educational settings.</li><li>Knowledge of the NCCD process and its implications for student support and reporting.</li><li>Ability to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.</li></ul><p><strong>Days and Hours Worked:</strong><br /><br />Working days are negotiable at the interview however two (2) days will be 7-12 based and one (1) day will be K-6</p><p>Early applications are encouraged as interviews may be conducted prior to the closing date.</p><p><strong>What we offer</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive Salary range: NSW And ACT Catholic Systemic Schools Enterprise Agreement 2020</li><li>Annual Leave with 17.5% leave loading</li><li>Access to salary packaging options to maximise employee benefits and salary </li><li>Modern facilities, equipment and resources</li><li>Access to additional Employer Superannuation Contributions</li><li>Induction processes, professional learning programs and Early Career Teacher Support</li><li>Access to Employee Assistance Program</li><li>Leadership development opportunities</li><li>Wellbeing programs and initiatives</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications and accreditations</strong></p><ul><li>Compliance with NSW Child Protection Legislation -<a href="https://ocg.nsw.gov.au/working-children-check" rel="nofollow"> Working with Children Check</a> clearance</li><li>Eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)</li><li>Tertiary Qualification (minimum 4-year degree, or 75% complete)</li><li>Statements of Service</li></ul><p><strong>Apply today!</strong></p><p>If you are determined to make a difference and want to join a diverse organisation committed to transforming lives through faith-based education, click on the APPLY button. </p><p>CSPD promotes the safety and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, and children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds.
