A motivated & passionate teacher's Aide is needed at St Patrick's Catholic Primary School, Asquith on a temporary part-time basis.

<p>St Patrick&#39;s Catholic Primary School, Asquith is currently seeking an experienced and passionate Teacher&#39;s Aide. This includes improved parental leave for temporary staff and non-primary carers, and recognition of service for support staff.</li></ul><p><strong>About the role</strong></p><p>You will help create a learning environment that tailors to the individual needs of Year 3 student by developing an understanding of complex medical needs, administering medical support, social and emotional needs and monitoring and supporting learning engagement. A challenging, rewarding and varied role making a difference in the lives of children. You will work closely in a team with other professionals to develop and deliver quality learning programs. This could be a continuing role for 2025, hours may be adjusted. </p><p><strong>Specific Criteria</strong></p><ul><li>A commitment to supporting a positive religious and cultural Catholic school environment for children.</li><li>A commitment and interest to support students with special learning needs.</li><li>An understanding of the needs of students who require individual and classroom support.</li><li>The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.</li><li>Excellent communication and IT skills</li><li>Ability to work with children with diverse learning needs as well as other students within in the classroom.</li><li>Display a patient, compassionate and caring nature. </li><li>Ability to work effectively as part of a team - such as teachers, parents, external providers. </li><li>Ability to be flexible and adaptable to assist the teacher and their students throughout the learning sessions. </li><li>Training will be provided to assist the successful applicant work with this specific child and the other members of the class. </li><li>Work 1:1 with a student with diverse learning, behavioural and physical needs </li><li>A current Working with Children Check</li><li>Demonstrated commitment to student well-being and child safety </li></ul><p><strong>About us, our Vision and our Towards 2025 Strategy</strong> <br /><br />Our Vision is to provide <i>&#39;authentic, professional Catholic education, delivered with care and compassion&#39;</i>.
