We have a supportive community who take pride in the school and its achievements and actively participate in community events bringing together parents, students and teachers.</p><p>At Bellfield College Junior School, we are creating and leading a culture of continuous improvement to ensure that every student, every teacher and every leader improves every year.</p><p><strong>About the role</strong></p><p>Reporting to the Head of Junior School, Bellfield College invites dynamic, innovative, and experienced teachers to apply for full-time permanent contracts commencing in Term 1, 2025. Generous remuneration above the published 2024 MEA rates.</p><p>Full-time permanent positions are available at our Rossmore and Rooty Hill campus'. </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Create effective teaching and learning experiences for all students and adjust teaching to meet students’ individual needs and diverse cultural, social and linguistic characteristics.</li><li>Develop safe, positive and productive learning environments where all students are encouraged to participate.</li><li>Design and implement engaging teaching programs that meet curriculum, assessment and reporting requirements.</li><li>Use feedback and assessment to inform planning and evaluate your own teaching regularly to adjust learning programs to better meet student needs.</li><li>Actively participate in the teaching profession and identify, plan and evaluate own professional learning needs through the Bellfield College Junior School Performance and Development Framework.</li><li>Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively with students, colleagues, parents/carers and community members and develop the tri-partnership of teacher, student, and parent in accordance with the school's ethos.</li></ul><p><strong>Specific Selection criteria</strong></p><ul><li>Qualified to teach in NSW Primary schools and possess relevant NSW teacher accreditation status (Provisional/ Conditional/ Proficient or higher).</li><li>Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality differentiated teaching and learning programs embedding Information and Communication Technology.</li><li>Highly developed communication, organisational and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to build and maintain effective partnerships with students, teachers and parents.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to develop positive learning environments with a thorough understanding of effective behaviour management strategies that enhance student wellbeing and learning outcomes.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to support the ethos, principles and practices of the College and willingness and enthusiasm to assist with the implementation and organisation of extracurricular activities.</li></ul><p><i>Applications will only be considered from applicants who have the appropriate NESA accreditation and retention of a valid Working with Children Check.</i></p><p><strong>How to apply</strong></p><p>If you’d like to express interest, send through a full resume and covering letter addressing your interest and suitability to the role directly to Head of Junior School, Monalisa Grover hoj@bellfield.nsw.edu.au and HR at <a href="mailto:amy.carrigg@bellfield.nsw.edu.au" rel="nofollow">amy.carrigg@bellfield.nsw.edu.au</a></p><p>1.
