<p>The primary role of a Secondary teacher is to provide for the spiritual, academic and wellbeing needs of all students and to adhere to Catholic principles, by personal example, integrity and behaviour.</p><p>The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching, with a proven ability to engage students and to create a relationship of mutual trust and respect. They will have the capacity to inspire students in our educational vision “Growing our love of learning”. We are seeking a personable teacher who can inspire and connect with students, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.</p><p>To be eligible applicants are required to:</p><ul><li>Be committed to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education.</li><li>Be able to articulate a commitment to learning and teaching.</li><li>Be willing to participate fully in the life of the school.</li><li>Have appropriate graduate and/or post graduate qualifications.</li><li>Be a registered Teacher in Tasmania or be able to gain registration prior to the commencement of the position.</li></ul><p>Catholic Education Tasmania and St Marys College are committed to supporting the rights of children and young people and providing a safe supportive environment for them.
