<p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Stella Maris Catholic Primary School</strong><br><strong>Burnie, TAS</strong></p><p>Stella Maris Catholic Primary School is situated at 24 - 28 Futuna Avenue, Burnie on the Northwest Coast of Tasmania. The school site overlooks Bass Strait and is approximately 2 km from the city centre and is close to hospitals, TAFE and Marist Regional College.</p><p>Stella Maris Catholic Primary School is a co-educational Catholic School situated in Burnie, catering for 431 students from Kindergarten to Grade 6. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher Assistant to join our community in an ongoing capacity.</p><p><strong>Teacher Assistant&nbsp;</strong><br><strong>Part Time – Ongoing</strong><br><strong>23.18 hours per week</strong></p><p>The school is seeking applications from enthusiastic and suitably qualified candidates.</p><p>&nbsp;The Teacher Assistant will be required to:</p><ul><li>Participate in the monitoring, evaluation and reporting of student learning and programs.</li><li>Support students with challenging behaviours in accordance with organisational policy and guidelines.</li><li>Provide support to the teachers in the delivery of educational programs to students</li><li>Certificate II in Education Support and/or equivalent experience</li><li>Valid Working with Vulnerable People Registration (Tasmania)</li><li>Demonstrated genuine commitment to the aims and philosophy of Catholic Education</li></ul><p>Salary will be in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2018.</p><p>Catholic Education Tasmania is committed to supporting the rights of children and young people and providing a safe and supportive environment for them.
