We are committed to maintaining the highest standards in learning and teaching whilst nurturing the wellbeing of each student.</strong></i></p><p>Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for the part time (0.4 FTE) fixed term position of <strong>STEM Teacher</strong> to commence on 28 January 2025, concluding on 26 January 2026. This is a position under the Victorian Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022.</p><p>The successful applicant will have a demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and to the safety and wellbeing of children. They will possess the skills and abilities necessary to provide students with a rich and rewarding educational experience and will embrace a collegial, team based approach to learning and teaching.</p><p><strong>Selection Criteria</strong></p><p>We require a teacher with the ability to:</p><ul><li>create a safe classroom environment that encourages the full flourishing of each child</li><li>embrace the Catholic ethos of our school</li><li>demonstrate enthusiasm and a positive attitude</li><li>Deliver engaging STEM lessons aligned with the Victorian Curriculum standards</li><li>Teach key concepts in systems engineering, coding, robotics, and other STEM areas</li><li>Collaborate with colleagues and participate in schoolwide STEM programs and initiatives</li><li>Plan and implement a highly structured program in STEM around the school’s inquiry units of work</li><li>deliver the appropriate curriculum to a range of educational abilities</li><li>Manage classroom behaviour to maintain a positive and dynamic learning environment</li><li>partner with families to provide care and support for students</li><li>foster and value student voice to engage children in their learning</li><li>use digital technologies to enhance innovative and contemporary learning and teaching.</li></ul><p>The successful applicant will hold Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration.</p><p><strong>How to apply</strong></p><p>Please include a letter of application that addresses the above <strong>selection criteria</strong> (maximum of two pages), the Application for Employment Form which includes the names and <strong>mobile </strong>numbers of <strong>three referees</strong>.
