Billabong Creek winds its way through Jerilderie and 321 kms of quintessentially Australian landscape. Jerilderie is known in history as the childhood home of Australia’s greatest military strategist, Sir John Monash. The Ned Kelly Gang visited in 1879. Ned wrote his manifesto, The Jerilderie Letter, whilst the gang kept the town’s prominent citizens hostage in the local Hotel. Not a day passes where picturesque Lake Jerilderie is not enjoyed by locals or visitors stretching their legs and breathing in the clean eucalypt scented air. Horgan’s Walk is easy to navigate, peaceful and revitalising. The old worlde Mini Railway located creekside still captures children’s imaginations.

Welcome to Jerilderie, to find out more click here.

Why Work for Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga?

Catholic Education, Diocese of Wagga Wagga (CEDWW) serves twenty-four primary schools, five secondary colleges and two boarding facilities.

In joining CEDWW, you will be part of a vibrant Catholic education community, with a shared dedication to providing quality education to students.
