At Scots this position sits within the 7-12 HSIE (Human Society and its environment) Teaching Department.</p><p>The successful applicant for this role will ideally have an understanding of and experience in delivering a combination of Modern History, Ancient History and Society and Culture.</p><p><strong>Applications Closing Date Sunday 1 December 2024</strong><br /> </p><p>The Scots School Albury places our young people at the centre of their educational experience by providing challenges and opportunities that enable them to flourish as individuals, with others, and within the broader community. This is an on-going position. An understanding of and experience in delivering HSIE NESA Courses Stages 4 &amp; 5 will be an advantage.</p><p>An understanding of and experience in delivering Modern History and/or Ancient History and/or Society and Culture NESA Stage 6 Courses will be an advantage.</p><p>The successful candidate will also be keen to play an active role in the classroom, in pastoral care, in co-curricular and in the broad life of the School community.</p><p><strong>About the Applicant</strong></p><p><strong>The HSIE Teacher will:</strong><br /> </p><ul><li>be an inspiring energetic and enthusiastic HSIE specialist with previous experience teaching or who is keen to teach a combination of Modern History and/or Ancient History and/or Society and Culture NESA Stage 6 Courses. </li><li>Work collaboratively with Teachers in Department.</li></ul><p><strong>Education and Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree – Qualifications that allow registration as a Teacher in NSW.</li><li>Master of Education or equivalent</li></ul><p><strong>Desirable Criteria </strong></p><ul><li>An understanding of and experience in delivering Modern History and/or Ancient History and/or Society and Culture NESA Stage 6 Courses .</li></ul><p><strong>The Scots School Albury is committed to child safety.
