Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga is looking for an Aboriginal School and Community Worker to undertake a Temporary position to work with school communities and provide a welcoming and safe place for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and their children, commencing January 2025

We achieve this through our schools being communities of Welcome, Faith, Service and Learning.</p><p>We support employees in their career journeys by offering various options for job mobility, promotional opportunities, and a comprehensive suite of professional development programs. </p><p><strong>Your New Role</strong></p><p>The Aboriginal School and Community Worker role exists to support Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Wagga Wagga (CEDWW) and works with school communities to provide a welcoming and safe place for our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and their children.</p><p>As the schools are located in Wiradjuri country, and in accordance with tradition, the term Aboriginal will be used to refer to both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, parents and carers.</p><p>Aboriginal School and Community Workers will engage in opportunities which support the learning, pastoral and spiritual wellbeing of Aboriginal students, their families and community.
