<p>A highly motivated teacher is required to join our teaching team at St Joseph’s as a full-time classroom teacher commencing term 1, 2025.</p><p>Salary will be based on experience in accordance with the Teacher scale of the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022 (CEMEA).</p><p>It is essential that the successful applicant embraces inquiry-based pedagogy that is personalised in a child-centred learning environment; and possesses a sound knowledge of and ability to implement, a contemporary pedagogy that is engaging and motivating.</p><p>The successful applicant must demonstrate an ability to:</p><ul><li>use data to drive student learning and inform best practice</li><li>assess students’ current learning needs and provide an engaging program to inform future direction</li><li>establish meaningful relationships with students whilst creating an inclusive vibrant classroom</li><li>work collaboratively and enthusiastically with his/her peers.</li></ul><p>Skills/Experience required:<br /> Bachelor of Education or relevant tertiary qualification.<br /> A commitment to Catholic education.<br /> An ability to develop and maintain professional and caring relationships with students, parents, and<br />colleagues.<br /> An ability to create an engaging, educational, and challenging learning environment that caters for<br />the needs of all students.<br /> An eagerness to learn.<br /> An enthusiasm to implement a differentiated curriculum and use modern technology to support<br />student learning.</p><p>Special Requirements:<br /> St Joseph&#39;s promotes the safety, well-being, and inclusion of all children; therefore, the successful<br />applicant must demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to providing a safe environment<br />for children.<br /> The successful applicant will hold the Victorian Institute of Teaching registration.<br /> Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school is preferred.<br /> Contact details of two referees.</p><p>Note: MACS is committed to the safety, wellbeing, and protection of all children in our care.
