The teacher in a Catholic school is someone who can encourage development and nurture the personal, spiritual and educational growth of each and every student.</p><p>We are seeking a Teacher who understands and commits to supporting the mission and ethos of Catholic education within the school by:</p><ul><li>Creating a learner-centred, supportive, and cooperative learning environment aligned with curriculum policies.</li><li>Developing and implementing quality curriculum programs using effective teaching methods; assess and report student progress.</li><li>Using inclusive teaching strategies and adapt practices for equitable education.</li><li>Analysing student assessment data to identify learning barriers and encourage improvement.</li><li>Engaging in ongoing professional development to enhance student outcomes.</li><li>Collaborating with school leadership, staff, and contribute to school life.</li><li>Providing student supervision and assist in organising extracurricular activities.</li></ul><p><br>A copy of the <i><strong>position description</strong></i> can be found <a href="https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vnwRPd8l0sVUn75TX4Y3VbQ6eXVlkdnB/view?usp=sharing">here.</a></p><p><br><strong>About You</strong><br>The new Primary Teacher will enrich the experiences of our students through contemporary teaching experience and aligning with the following selection criteria:</p><ul><li>Hold relevant tertiary qualifications and accreditation to teach in NSW.</li><li>Capacity to monitor and assess student learning data and to use this data to inform teaching for improved student learning.</li><li>Demonstrate a commitment and capacity to actively contribute to a broad range of school activities and a capacity to reflect on, evaluate and improve professional knowledge and practice in a professional learning team.</li><li>The desire to engage with and contribute to a Catholic learning organisation</li><li>The ability to develop positive relationships in the classroom based on mutual respect, patience and understanding</li><li>Up to date knowledge of NESA and Australian Curriculum requirements for all stages in your KLA area</li><li>Ability to teach music is desirable but not essential.</li></ul><p><strong>About Our Offer</strong><br>Our teachers are valued and enjoy the many benefits of working with Catholic Education, Diocese of Bathurst.
