We would love to hear from you!</p><p>This role is a leadership role that is important to the school. It is made up of 4 days classroom teaching and one full day of planning. We are looking for an excellent teacher to share their knowledge and skills with the Year 1/2 team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop leadership skills and maintain a passion for classroom teaching at the same time. Experienced teachers with a passion for leadership with no leadership experience can apply. </p><p><strong>The leadership component involves: </strong></p><p>- Assisting the Deputy Principal Teaching and Learning to drive continuous improvement in instruction and to help as Resurrection continues on its&#39; journey of meeting the MACS Vision for Instruction 2030 in the Year 1/2 Level </p><p>- To be a lead teacher in the planning day in order to support the Deputy Principal Teaching and Learning to help drive this continuous improvement </p><p>- Organising excursions and the Prep - Year 2&#39;s participation in our swimming program in conjunction with the Prep Team Leader.<br /> </p><p><strong>In supporting you within a team setting, we provide the following:</strong></p><ul><li>One day per week release from your teaching duties to collaborate, plan and participate in professional learning with your team with the support of leaders for full-time teachers </li><li>One staff meeting per week</li><li>A relentless focus on the wellbeing of each child</li><li>A Monday one hour meeting where all Team Leaders are involved in Professional learning and dialogue around Vision for Instruction</li><li>A welcoming and inclusive culture and as a result, families value and trust the school and its staff</li><li>Dedicated staff demonstrating high levels of teamwork and a commitment to professional growth</li><li>Clear communication and processes that support transparency and facilitate the learning environment.</li></ul><p><strong>Applicants should have:</strong></p><ul><li>A passion for supporting students</li><li>A passion for leading improvement</li><li>Proven ability or a want to cater for the individual needs of our students</li><li>Be driven to contribute, lead and learn.</li></ul><p>Applicants are encouraged to visit our website: <strong>www.rskingspark.catholic.edu.au</strong> to gain further insight into our school.
