St Dominic’s College, Kingswood is a Catholic school in the Blessed Edmund Rice tradition conducted by Edmund Rice Education Australia. <p>The College is looking to appoint a highly motivated, suitability qualified Administrative Assistant to support our College Leadership Team. This is a permanent position, with flexibility for full-time or part-time arrangements, to be negotiated with the College Principal, commencing at the beginning of the 2025 College year. </p><p>The College Leadership Team (CLT) Assistant will provide full administrative and secretarial support at a senior level to the CLT through the College Deputy Principal. Reporting directly to the Director of Business Services, the CLT Assistant acts as the administrative point of contact between the College CLT and internal and external stakeholders.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Key responsibilities include:</strong></p><ul><li>Providing senior-level administrative and secretarial support to the CLT.</li><li>Organising meetings and preparing agendas, minutes, and follow-up tasks.</li><li>Managing and updating key documents and systems, including the College’s AIP and the NESA site (knowledge of NESA is an advantage).</li><li>Assisting the College Principal’s PA with minute-taking and meeting preparation as required.</li><li>Supporting the Diverse Learning team with administrative tasks one day per week.</li><li>Coordinating the creation and distribution of certificates, letters, and correspondence.</li><li>Drafting and formatting professional documentation in line with the College’s style guide.</li><li>Acting as a key point of contact between the College’s CLT and internal/external stakeholders.</li><li>Assisting with College events, including logistics and planning.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Essential Criteria:</strong></p><ul><li>Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, with high attention to detail.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), email, and calendar systems.</li><li>Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport across diverse stakeholders.</li><li>Self-motivation and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Highly Desirable Criteria:</strong></p><ul><li>Previous experience in a school-based setting and familiarity with NESA</li><li>Willingness to participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and community engagements.</li></ul><p> </p><p>Applicants are encouraged to visit the College website <a href="http://www.stdominics.nsw.edu.au" rel="nofollow">www.stdominics.nsw.edu.au</a> for further information about the College.
