30.83 hours per week, 0.82 FTE, term time Monday - Friday 8.15am - 3.15pm Limited tenure (Parental leave replacement) Commencing 31 January 2025

<p>The Learning Support Officer will work closely and collaboratively with teaching staff to provide support for student learning in classroom, small groups, and one-to-one settings under the direction of the Learning Leader of Lantern.</p><p>Work will be predominantly with students that require additional learning support and/or English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EALD).</p><p>We envision a compassionate and professional individual who is experienced and dedicated to working with neurodiverse and other students with specific learning needs (Years 7-12) as they progress through their secondary education.</p><p>Relevant theoretical knowledge of specific learning differences (i.e. Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention-Deficit / Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Dysgraphia, Dyslexia) and how they impact learning would be beneficial.  In addition, the ability to work with students in both small groups and one-on-one, supporting learning across a range of areas including numeracy, literacy and EALD.</p><p> </p><p>Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2018.</p><p>We demonstrate our commitment to reconciliation by encouraging Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to apply.</p><p>CET supports the rights of children and young people and is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment directed at ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
