Covering an expansive geographical area which includes the Central Coast and Sydney’s Northern Beaches and North Shore, Catholic Schools Broken Bay is a system serving 45 Catholic Schools with around 17,000 students from Kindergarten to Year 12.</p><p><strong>About The Role</strong></p><p>This role is a senior administrative support position working in the Evangelisation and Catechesis (E&C) Workstream.</p><p>As the frontline contact for the Workstream this role handles a variety of tasks, a high degree of confidential and/or sensitive information and communicates with a wide range of school leaders, school staff, office professionals and external stakeholders. </p><p>The broad scope of this role encompasses executive support to the Deputy Workstream Leads in E&C and other professionals in the team as required. </p><p>This is<strong> </strong>a<strong> permanent, full-time </strong>position based at our head office in <strong>Pennant Hills.</strong></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Organises executive communications including taking calls, responding to emails and interfacing with internal staff and external stakeholders<br /> </li><li>Triages the intake of team phone and email enquiries as well as CSBB intranet enquiries<br /> </li><li>Manage the financial transactions and processes for the E & C team<br /> </li><li>Manages and organises team files and documents<br /> </li><li>Assists with the management of Parent Engagement Coordinators (PECs) in schools by creating and maintaining a calendar of events and gathering data on participation and parish engagement across the system<br /> </li><li>Prepares meeting communications and takes minutes including corresponding with meeting participants for all meetings held by the Workstream<br /> </li><li>Assist in preparing, editing and publishing documentation for the Religious Education Curriculum<br /> </li><li>Assists with the organization and preparation for a range of events including liturgies, masses, formation sessions, youth ministry events, professional development days and gatherings.<br /> </li><li>Upholds a strict level of confidentiality<br /> </li><li>Supports the work of the broader E&C team as needed </li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Relevant certification or tertiary qualification, and/or an equivalent level of knowledge gained through any combination of education, training and/or experience <br /> </li><li>Current NSW Driver’s Licence (and own car required)</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits of Working with Us</strong></p><ul><li>Free onsite parking or public transport close by at our head office</li><li>25% School Fee Discount for eligible staff</li><li>Generous leave entitlements including ex-gratia leave at Christmas time</li><li>Annual Leave Loading</li><li>Salary Packaging</li></ul><p><strong>Application Process</strong></p><p>Applications should include:</p><ul><li>A Cover Letter of no more than one page, addressing why you feel suitable for this role</li><li>A current Resume</li></ul><p>For any enquiries or if you wish to apply for the opportunity, please contact the Talent Team at <a href="mailto:careers@dbb.catholic.edu.au" rel="nofollow">careers@dbb.catholic.edu.au</a> </p><p>Closing Date: <strong> 4 November 2024</strong></p><p><i>Agencies, please note that unsolicited resumes will not be accepted for this position.</i></p><p><strong>New position on COVID-19 vaccinations</strong></p><p>Given the current management of risks associated with COVID-19 in the community, and the gradual wind-back of some settings, CSBB has decided to no longer require all staff to be fully vaccinated, effective 19 September 2022.
