<p>An opportunity has arisen for a Learning Support Officer at Sacred Heart Parish School, Sandringham. This position is a <strong>0.32 FTE</strong> (30 hrs per week Monday - Friday) to commence in Term 1, 2025. The role is fixed-term until the end of the 2025 school year.</p><p>The role of a Learning Support Officer is to ensure all students are provided with assistance to achieve competency within the normal range of student outcomes or in accordance with their individual learning plans.</p><p><i><strong>To be successful in this position you will have the following:</strong></i></p><p>Be able to provide 1:1 support to a student.</p><p>Be able to provide physical support and medical needs to a student e.g toileting and physical needs.</p><p>To work as part of a team.</p><p>The ability to work closely with staff, students, and parents.</p><p>Sound Literacy and Numeracy skills.</p><p>Take detailed notes of students you work with for NCCD evidence.</p><p>Attend PSG  &amp; NCCD meetings termly.</p><p>Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise and communicate effectively with people at all levels.</p><p>Keep privileged information confidential.</p><p>Be able to obtain a Police clearance and Working with Children Check</p><p>Applications and CV&#39;s to be emailed to the Principal, Simon Collis by 4pm on 6th December.</p><p><a href="mailto:principal&#64;shsandringham.catholic.edu.au." rel="nofollow">principal&#64;shsandringham.catholic.edu.au.</a></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
