The College is seeking to appoint a passionate Mathematics Teacher to join our outstanding Mathematics Faculty in January 2025 on a full-time basis.
<p><i>Established in 1879, St Aloysius' College is a Catholic, Jesuit day school for boys from Year 3 to Year 12. Situated in the shadow of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, it has an enrolment of over 1300 students.</i></p><p><i>The College is conducted by the Society of Jesus and is part of a worldwide network of Jesuit primary and secondary schools and universities.</i></p><p> </p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p><strong>Mathematics Teacher</strong></p><p>St Aloysius’ College is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Mathematics Teacher to join our high performing Mathematics Department on a full-time basis commencing Term I 2025. </p><p>The successful candidate will possess a proven ability to teach Stage 6 Mathematics, with the capacity and expertise to teach Advanced and Extension 1 Mathematics considered advantageous.</p><p>Reporting to the Head of Mathematics, you will work collaboratively with members of the Mathematics faculty and other members of the academic team, contributing to the overall academic and pastoral care of students. You will demonstrate outstanding subject knowledge, and a willingness to integrate innovative pedagogy that both supports and challenges students is essential.</p><p>Demonstrating a commitment to fostering an engaging and contemporary classroom teaching practice, the successful candidate would be responsible for creating an environment which stimulates learning and promotes excellence to a high degree.
