Kindergarten to Year 6 serving the Albion Park Parish with an enrolment of approximately 340 pupils.

<p><strong>Location:</strong> St Paul's Catholic Parish Primary School, Albion Park</p><p>The Principal of St Paul's Catholic Parish Primary School invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced personnel for this temporary part time position of School Support Officer - First Aid commencing 31 January 2025 until 19 December 2025 (working 5 hours per day).</p><p>This role necessitates a commitment to uphold the mission and objectives of the Catholic School, anchored by the core values of Integrity, Justice, Hope, and Compassion.</p><p>ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES&nbsp;</p><p>Include but are not limited to the following:</p><ul><li>Ability to provide First Aid student management &amp; administrative support.</li><li>Management of First Aid for students in sick bay &amp; maintaining sick bay equipment.</li><li>Management of excursion resources and communication with supervising staff.</li><li>Provide student support via the student services counter.</li><li>Hold a current First Aid Qualification HLTAID011 or higher.</li><li>Ability to work with limited supervision.</li></ul><p>DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Previous experience in similar settings.</li></ul><p>GENERAL CAPABILITIES</p><ul><li>Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.</li><li>Effective organisational skills.</li><li>Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.</li><li>Technical competence in relevant technologies.</li><li>Positive attitude to innovation and change.</li><li>Ability to maintain confidentiality.</li><li>Undertake the provision of first aid and administration of medications for students as required.</li><li>Liaise with parents, visitors, school staff.</li></ul><p>EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Requires knowledge and training equivalent to completion of certificate III, or completion of year 12 or completion of certificate II, with relevant work experience.</li></ul><p>WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE</p><p>This role is classified as a child related work and therefore a working with children clearance is required prior to your commencement with us.</p><p>POSITION APPLICATION&nbsp;</p><p>To submit your Application please select the 'Apply Now' button at the bottom of this advertisement.
