Marist College is seeking an energetic and highly skilled teacher of French. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and passionate teacher who is committed to Catholic education and sharing the love of the Italian Language with students from Years 7 – 12. This is an ongoing full-time position 1.0 FTE commencing Semester 1, 2025.

<p>Marist College is a Congregational Catholic school for boys (Year 4-12) operating as part of ‘Marist Schools Australia’. It has an enrolment of approximately 1830 students, and enjoys an excellent reputation for its pastoral care of students, academic studies, cultural and sport pursuits.</p><p>Marist College is seeking an energetic and highly skilled teacher of French. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and passionate teacher who is committed to Catholic education. The successful applicant will have appropriate qualifications and experience in teaching Years 7 – 12 and would be working with a dedicated and innovative team of educators within the Languages Department. This is an ongoing full-time position 1.0 FTE commencing Semester 1, 2025.</p><p>Staff at Marist College Canberra are responsible for the promotion of an atmosphere of charity and justice within the College, as is expected in a Catholic community and to help ensure the provision of the Catholic perspective in the teaching and learning process and in all the activities of the College.</p><p>All teachers have a responsibility to develop and maintain an understanding of Catholic beliefs and those aspects of Catholic teaching that relate to their subject areas. Through their own example they provide Christian leadership for all members of the school community.</p><p>Only a person supportive of Catholic Education philosophy may be a teacher in a Catholic School.
