The Towards 2025 Strategy commits our system of schools to being at least as good as the very best, to maximise the learning growth of every student, and to inspire hearts and minds to know Christ and love learning. </p><p>Covering an expansive geographical area which includes the Central Coast, Sydney’s Northern Beaches and North Shore, Catholic Schools Broken Bay is a system serving 45 Catholic Schools with around 17,000 students from Kindergarten to Year 12. </p><p><br /><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>We are currently seeking a <strong>Property Partner</strong> to join our Facilities Workstream. The ideal applicant is commercially minded and a collaborative individual. This is a <strong>permanent, full-time role</strong> based at our head office in Pennant Hills, with expectations to travel to various schools across our Diocese.</p><p>Reporting to the Asset Manager and partnering with school leaders, you will manage various property projects from planning to implementation stages including repairs and maintenance and compliance. This role will contribute quality project delivery skills to ensure CSBB schools and office spaces reflect our commitment to offering contemporary learning environments that support student engagement and achievement. </p><p>In addition, the Property Partner must have the ability to cost-effectively manage significant maintenance and repairs work in CSBB schools and offices. <strong>Experience in repairs/maintenance and building compliance is desired</strong>. </p><p> </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong> </p><ul><li>Plans and manages the implementation of minor capital works safely, efficiently and satisfies budget, quality, and program expectations</li><li>Applies best practice principles to project management, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and/or legislation</li><li>Responds to and follows up all stakeholder queries, requests for maintenance and status of approved works in a timely manner</li><li>Undertakes school site visits to scope school needs, ensure the Principal is supported in managing property projects and external party requirements are met</li><li>Provides accurate reporting and documentation to meet deadlines pertaining to facilities work and longer-term projects </li><li>Manages stakeholder engagement, expectations and communication with local councils and authorities, schools and local communities to develop and maintain collaborative and productive relationships</li><li>Ensures the credentials of contractors are registered and secures references</li><li>Provides technical construction and project management advice to colleagues and prepares documentation to support potential works</li><li>Works collaboratively with peers in the Facilities and Procurement team to continuously improve design standards to meet ongoing CSBB operational needs</li><li>Provides advice as required and support preparatory work relating to NSW Catholic Block Grant Authority (CBGA) submissions</li><li>Assists in developing strategies to continually improve CSBB and schools&#39; shared responsibilities to ensure school facilities are maintained to be safe and optimal learning and teaching environments adequate for the courses of study and student cohort numbers</li><li>Works within the team to ensure smooth transition of new assets for ongoing maintenance in accordance with relevant legislation and maintenance planning</li><li>As required, works on-site at schools to support Principals in manging property projects</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Specific Criteria</strong></p><ul><li>Tertiary qualifications in Project Management or related discipline and demonstrated professional experience in facilities management </li><li>Has a valid WWCC (or willingness to obtain)</li><li>Holds a NSW WorkCover White Card</li><li>Understanding of WHS legislation and regulations</li><li>Current NSW driver’s licence Current NSW Driver’s Licence (and own car required) as there is an expectation that travel is required across the geographic span of the Diocese</li><li>Demonstrated ability to engage and liaise with professionals working with building disciplines</li><li>Experience in working in the construction, property management or property maintenance environment with a focus on delivering projects</li><li>Demonstrated planning, organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple and concurrent projects/tasks</li><li>Has outstanding skills in stakeholder engagement and management</li><li>Strong governance and reporting experience </li><li>Demonstrated management of risk to deliver projects on time, within budget, within scope and with high quality outcomes</li><li>Demonstrates a strong work ethic with a genuine passion for working with the customer in mind to serve their needs and requirements</li><li>Maintains a degree of independence to develop a suitable approach in managing workload</li><li>Knows and adheres to legislation, guidelines and organisational policies and procedures in all relevant areas of work</li><li>Has a keen eye for detail to deliver consistently accurate and informed written and verbal communications suitable for the receiving audience</li><li>Is energised by working in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Is adaptive and responsive to change and can adapt to working under pressure and re-prioritising tasks</li><li>Can manage competing priorities and the sensitivities of others to deliver high quality work</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Benefits of Working with Us</strong> </p><ul><li>Competitive salary on offer (circa 123K &#43;
