The College is seeking an enthusiastic and passionate TAS Assistant to work and support the TAS department.

Our outdoor education campus, Tallong, is located on 97 hectares in the Southern Highlands. Our Early Education Centre (Mary Bailey House) and Out of School Hours (OOSH) services are located in the grounds of the Primary (Del Monte) Campus. </p><p><strong>Position:</strong> Permanent - Full-Time (5 days per week - term-time only). <i>We are open to considering part-time opportunities for the suitable candidate.</i></p><p><strong>Commencement date:</strong> 28 January 2025</p><p>The successful candidate will:</p><ul><li>support the Catholic Dominican Mission of the College</li><li>be responsible for organising, ordering and preparing appropriate materials and equipment for practical lessons and/or units of work in consultation with TAS Teachers</li><li>maintain the specialist rooms and all equipment and resources that support good and efficient teaching in the areas of Food Technology, Textiles and Design and Design and Technology</li><li>have experience in the area of catering and food handling preferred but not essential (Food Safety Supervisor Certificate) </li><li>awareness of safe work practices required in the TAS classrooms including Work Health and Safety (WHS) regulations</li><li>strong organisational and time management skills.</li></ul><p>Previous experience in a school environment would be highly advantageous.</p><p><strong>Please visit the College website for further application details:</strong><a href="https://www.ssc.nsw.edu.au/about-santa-sabina/employment/" rel="nofollow"> https://www.ssc.nsw.edu.au/about-santa-sabina/employment/</a></p><p>Applications must contain a cover letter addressed to the <strong>College Principal, Ms Paulina Skerman.</strong> For further information, please contact Ann McGovern, Deputy Principal - Staff on (02) 9745 7025. </p><p><strong>Applications close:</strong> 4:00pm Wednesday 27 November 2024.</p><p><i>The College is committed to the National Principles for Child Safe Organisations.
