<p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time ICT Systems and Network Administrator within a small, highly skilled team providing service and support to over 1300 staff and students at a campus located in the heart of Chatswood.</p><p>St Pius X College is committed to the innovative use of technology in education. We are seeking an enthusiastic, problem-solving, and self-motivated individual to join our ICT Department. As the ICT Systems and Network Administrator, you will lead the installation and maintenance of technology to meet the college’s requirements.</p><p>This role offers significant potential for growth and professional development within a close-knit team. The successful candidate will possess excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills and a keen interest in networking, server, and cloud technologies.</p><p><strong>Core Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Oversee the technical management and maintenance of all ICT infrastructure across the St Pius X College Campus.</li><li>Maintain and enhance an Aruba/HPE network with approximately 120 wireless access points across one main and four smaller campuses.</li><li>Utilize PowerShell and other scripting technologies to automate tasks and increase efficiency.</li><li>Develop and maintain a Standard Operating Environment (SOE) through Microsoft Autopilot.</li><li>Provide escalated Level 3 Technical Support to staff, students, and other ICT Team members.</li><li>Facilitate the completion of special projects, including on-site and cloud infrastructure upgrades and wireless network configuration.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications and Experience:</strong></p><ul><li>Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in an ICT Infrastructure role.</li><li>Proven ability to conduct systematic analysis and solve problems independently.</li><li>Demonstrated experience with Microsoft PowerShell scripting (please include examples with your application).</li><li>Experience with Windows Server, Hyper-V, and On-Prem Active Directory.</li><li>Proficiency with Entra and Azure.</li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Exchange configuration via PowerShell.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with customers at varying levels of ICT literacy.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and follow through to completion independently.</li><li>Working knowledge of networking technologies and the ability to configure Level 2/3 switches and firewalls.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with the following technologies:<ul><li>Microsoft Windows Server</li><li>Microsoft 365</li><li>Active Directory/Entra design and maintenance</li><li>Network Design and Configuration (both wired and wireless)</li><li>Microsoft Windows 11</li></ul></li><li>Technical certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, or HPE.</li><li>SQL Server configuration experience.</li><li>Experience with Microsoft Teams.</li></ul><p>Visit the College website <a href="http://spx.nsw.edu.au" rel="nofollow">http://spx.nsw.edu.au</a> for more information and details on how to apply.</p><p> </p>
