Teachers at Carroll College develop contemporary learning and teaching strategies in a balanced approach to explicit instruction, high impact teaching strategies and inquiry learning.&nbsp;Carroll&nbsp;College is part of Catholic Education, Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn (CECG) which operates 56 Catholic Systemic Schools and nine Early Learning Centres across ACT and NSW.&nbsp;</p><p><strong>About the Role&nbsp;</strong><br>In consultation with&nbsp;the school's leadership team and under the direction of the Leader of Inclusive Education in accordance with the College’s Inclusive Education Policy, the Classroom Support Teacher will have responsibility for leading and delivering these key activities:</p><ul><li>Maintain teaching expertise and knowledge of evidence based, effective teaching practices to improve student achievement across the learning areas or subjects with a focus on literacy and numeracy. The focus is on development of Catalyst Bold Goals, and High Impact Teaching Practices (HITPs).</li><li>Provide support to school teams and individual teachers in identifying patterns of achievement and selecting evidence-based intervention strategies at whole school, cohort and individual student levels for underachieving students, including students with learning disabilities.
